What's New - R3 Dairy Hot Water System

 

The Rivet dairy hot water systems have been designed to provide efficient, reliable and rapid hot water when the farmer requires it. Traditional electric storage hot water systems are slow to heat up, have high heat loss and are a major component of the farm electricity bill.

The system's are flexible and can be installed as individual components or fully integrated with each other combining the cylinder, drop tank, solar collectors and gas boosters. This flexibility allows the system to be installed in new and existing sheds, internally and externally. The hot water cylinders and drop tanks are manufactured from stainless steel and fabricated in the 'Naki', New Zealand. The solar collectors are approved for New Zealand conditions and the Bosch 32 gas water heaters are designed for commercial applications.

The fully integrated system of cylinder, drop tank, solar collectors, gas booster and programmable controller ensures that the free energy from the sun is maximised before being boosted by the time controlled gas water heater to ensure the water is hot when required and not before. This minimises heat loss. The system is fully commissioned at completion of installation - complete with cold water auto fill, hot water discharge direct to tank or piped into automated wash down systems. The programmable controller is set with the required temperature settings, time clock and override features. Options: The cylinders are available in two sizes, being 380L and 500L. These can be coupled to matching drop tanks. The Bosch 32 connects to either cylinder size and can also have the solar collectors connected to them.
